Have you noticed that special things often have special names?

The rain has a name. The moon has a name. Even the tiny ant on the path has a name. When someone loves you, they might call you by a kind name — a name that makes you smile.

Names can tell us what something is like. If we call someone “the Helper,” we know they help. If we call someone “the Kind One,” we know they are kind.

Now here is something wonderful. Allah has names too — and they are the most beautiful names of all. Each one teaches us something true about Him. One name tells us He is kind. Another tells us He made everything. Another tells us He hears every whisper.

Let’s open our ears and hearts, and learn a few of Allah’s beautiful names.
