We love Allah the most

A Muslim loves Allah more than anything and anyone. Allah made us, cares for us, and gives us every good thing. Allah tells us that the believers are the strongest of all people in their love for Allah (Qur'an 2:165). Loving Allah fills our hearts with happiness.

We show love by obeying Allah

When we love someone, we like to make them happy. We show our love for Allah by doing what He asks and staying away from what He tells us to avoid. Allah says: if you love Allah, then follow the Prophet ﷺ, and Allah will love you (Qur'an 3:31). So following Allah's Messenger ﷺ is a beautiful sign of loving Allah.

We love Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

We also love Allah's Messenger, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, very much. Allah sent him as a mercy for all the worlds (Qur'an 21:107), and Allah praised his beautiful character (Qur'an 68:4). He was kind, honest, gentle, and caring to everyone. Loving the Prophet ﷺ means we are happy to follow his lovely example, his Sunnah.

Ways to show our love

There are simple, happy ways to show our love every day. We remember Allah with our words, like saying Bismillah, Alhamdulillah, and SubhanAllah — this is called dhikr. We send our greetings of peace upon the Prophet ﷺ. And we try to copy his kindness: telling the truth, helping others, and being gentle. Every time we do this, our love for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ grows.
