The six things we believe in

This year we learned the six things every Muslim believes in — the six parts of our Iman. We believe in Allah, in His angels, in His books, in His messengers, in the Last Day, and in Allah's wise plan (Qadr). Allah tells us that the believer believes in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers (Qur'an 2:285). All six beliefs live together in a Muslim's heart.

Iman shows in what we do

Iman is not only something we say or feel. Real Iman shows in our actions. Allah often speaks about those who believe and do good deeds together (Qur'an 2:277). When our hearts believe, our hands and our words become kind and good.

Good actions that show our Iman

There are so many happy ways to show our Iman. We worship Allah and thank Him for His gifts. We tell the truth and keep our promises, like our Prophet ﷺ. We are kind to our parents, our family, and our friends. We help others and share what we have. Every good deed, even a smile, is a way of showing our Iman.

My Iman in action

Iman grows stronger every time we use it. You can make a simple plan: today I will remember Allah, say something kind, and help someone. Little by little, these good habits make our Iman shine brighter. When we believe in our hearts and do good with our hands, we are living as true, happy Muslims.

Let's remember

  • A Muslim believes in six things: Allah, angels, books, messengers, the Last Day, and Qadr.
  • Iman is not only in the heart — it shows in our actions.
  • Good deeds like honesty, kindness, and helping show our Iman.
  • We can put our Iman into action every single day.
